everyday

so birthday party was a huge success. i think my birthday party in a week is going to be bigger and better though. i hope you all can make it.

yesterday we went to a mini concert at this german ladies house and the kids performed. there was cello, trumpet, recorder and piano and it was funny. and we had apple crumble and i ate a lot. and i met a person my age and she said we would go to the movies but then said we couldnt because its too dangerous. also a guy sang a song in german and everyone laughed a lot. i totally got all the jokes its amazing how quickly i have learned the language.

today we had company, also germans, and i stared at the wall again! deja vu from my first night. but the dinner tasted really good. i guess that is also true of the first night. we are still eating the triple batch of chocolate chip cookies from last week- i think they taste bad now so maybe its time for a new batch?

also rowing didnt work out this weekend but i think this coming saturday i will go. but the season is over so it doesnt make that much sense. there is another season that is feb-march that i think i will do. thats a long ways away though so who knows. i can burn off germany when i get back though. that will be good.
