so i have to be dumb careful with internet usage cause here they do it by the information you deal on the net. meaning, no margaret, you can't watch an hour long special on allison the girl addicted to huffing computer cleaner (see youtube). so i ruined their month allowance of internet in a night. so i wont be video chatting with any of you and fewer photo posts yadadada. you get the idea. but send me an email.

Next tuesday im going to a bread baking class!! its five hours long and the bakery is run by a swedish couple, the place is called sweet (swedish wheat too clever) So that is exciting and tuesday is my day off next week.
ALSO! i chose rowing because the badminton person i talked to told me it was uhmm very competitive and not a social sport. Okay thanks bye. the rowing people are nice and say it would be super if i could come which is weird because i might slow the boat down. they have a competition in a couple weeks but i dont think i'll make it, maybe just go to a couple practices. The season is over after that competition so it will be short lived (oh well)
And, i am going to start my private german lessons with a person named christine (not rutan.) and i think tomorrow evening we are going to meet and talk about what we want to do. She is a teacher of german at both the university and the high school so maybe she will advertise me to her students that maybe want a new AMERICAN friend. call me.
What else. Oh the picture you are wondering about? They are south african penguins. We saw them at the coast and there are tons of them. Yes penguins. But guess what else? Baboons. The whole pack was hanging out at one of those view point spots along the road. Very cute. (not really) i didnt get a great look at them because we are driving by too quickly but im sure i'll see them again.
We are going to Namibia in about a month for 10 days. Cool-- 14 hour car drive (thumbs up). And Saturday is Hanna's birthday party. I made a triple batch of chocolate chip cookies and a triple batch of cupcakes. very exciting things.
Okay that might be the last post for the month until i get more internet.

Margo, are those long shadows in the photo of the penguins pointing north or south ? Does all the blood in your body rush to your head when you are down there at the bottom of the planet? If you ever feel dizzy you should do a head stand and the blood will rush back to your feet. good luck and hold on tight.
